Continuity of Care Birth Package

The journey you pick if you know from the start that it's important to have a relationship with your midwife, from start to finish. Someone you meet in the thick of first trimester sickness and hormonal changes, who you get to know and trust as pregnancy progesses. Someone who you feel relieved to see walk through the door when you need that familiar face in labour. Someone who knows exactly what you want, and what you don't want, who doesn't need to sit and read your birth plan because she helped you write it. Your biggest cheerleader when you need hyping up, and reminding of your incredible strength.
Someone who brings you a cup of tea in bed as a postnatal visit, and a hug to tell you how incredible you were.
You want a midwife who feels like a friend, who trusts your intuition, your body and your baby. Someone with the expertise on how physiological labour really works, but with the skills to intervene if you need it.
You want the whole journey supported.
From positive test to a month old baby, with all the ups and downs in between.

30+ weeks Birth Package

This is the journey you choose if you've come to the realisation that independent care is the right path for you later in pregnancy.
Maybe your options are being restricted and you've understood that standard maternity care isn't going to support you as an individual. Maybe your home birth service has been restricted, you've been told you 'aren't allowed' to have a VBAC at home, or that you can't use a pool with a BMI above 35.
Whatever the reason, I'm glad you've found me.
We can build that relationship right from the start. We'll get to the nitty gritty, what support you want and need. We'll create a plan, and you tell me how and where you want to birth.
When it comes to birth, you'll feel in control, supported, listened to and held. No judgement, just meeting you where you're at.
After birth, you'll have a familiar face walking through the door. You stay in your PJs in bed, and I come to wherever you are. I look after you until you're ready at around 4 weeks postnatally.
This journey is limited in availability and can't be booked prior to 28 weeks.

If the other birth packages don't work for your needs or your budget, get in touch and we can see what I can offer. I have very limited 'birth only' options if you come to me very late in pregnancy, which include reduced antenatal and postnatal care.
I don't often offer these packages as I don't want to incentivise people not having continuity of care which is shown to improve outcomes for parents and babies. But I understand sometimes circumstances mean you aren't aware of the options until the end of pregnancy, so get in touch and I can let you know what I can offer in the timeframe and what your quote will be.

Interest free payment plans as standard
I don't want financial pressure to become a barrier to being able to choose excellent care. As standard all of my clients are on monthly payment plans. All fees are due prior to 36 weeks gestation.

£2000 deposit, and 6 monthly payments of £1208.33
